Humphrey's Lantern Walk
Join us on Saturday 16th November and help us raise money to support Royal Manchester Children's Hospital's young patients - our family Lantern Walk in the beautiful surroundings of Heaton Park is returning for its third year!
Humphrey Bear will wave participants off on the sponsored walk, taking in Heaton Hall, The Temple and the gardens, before finishing by helping us light up the tunnel with your lanterns! There will be family-friendly, accessible 2k and 4k routes, and a quiet, autism-friendly start available too.
All registered children taking part will receive a goody bag, including a paper lantern with twinkling light.
You’ll be able to collect your goodie bag on the day from 1.30pm, with the waves starting at 3.15pm (4k wave) and 3.45pm (2k Wave).
Registration costs £5 per participating child and £2 per person for all other members of the party, including children. To help us make a difference we are asking participating children to each raise a minimum sponsorship of £30.
We’d love to see your child’s favourite superhero costume or fancy dress outfit to help make our Lantern Walk even more special! (Fancy dress is optional).
If you register before 30th September you will recieve a pair of Humphrey Bear ears - register for Lantern Walk today!
If you have any questions at all, please contact the community fundraising team on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0161 276 4522.
We can't wait to see you there!
