Giving Back in a Stylish Way
Manchester-based lifestyle brand, We Are Gntlmen has designed and manufactured a new shirt exclusively for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, donating 100% of the proceeds.
‘Humphrey’ is the latest addition to We Are Gntlmen’s premium shirt collection and has been named after Humphrey Bear; the charity mascot for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. The name is also aligned with the brand’s ethos of giving each shirt in the collection its own identity by means of a traditional British name; signifying the gentleman’s persona and lifestyle the individual is suited to.
The new white Oxford shirt features a bespoke design with the hospital’s logo on the cuff and inside neck label, as well as the We Are Gntlmen logo on the front; all printed in the charity’s signature bright green colour. Like all shirts in the We Are Gntlmen collection, Humphrey is made from 100% cotton and includes a signature 2 button placement for an understated and minimalist look for the modern man.
The new partnership with Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity is the first step in We Are Gntlmen’s plans to give back and do good for worthwhile causes.
We Are Gntlmen’s 28-year old founder, Matt Bird says: “I’ve always wanted the We Are Gntlmen brand to be more than just a product and it’s great that we’re now in a position to be able to give back to a local charity. I really want to do more than just donate a small proportion of profits, so with this partnership with the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity and with the further visions of the We Are Gntlmen Foundation, I feel we can use the brand to do some amazing and beneficial things both on a local and national scale.”
Lucy Tunn, Corporate Fundraising Assistant at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity comments: “We are delighted to gain this exciting new charity partnership with We Are Gntlmen. The Humphrey design shirt looks fantastic and we can’t wait to see our supporters wearing them! We’d like to thank Matt for supporting our charity in this way. We depend greatly on the generosity of local businesses as without donations, our Charity cannot enhance areas of care, treatment and research at the hospital.”
