First Year of Peninsula Partnership Raises over £200k
Leading HR and employment law consultancy, Peninsula, have been busy having fun whilst raising vital funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. They have surpassed the £200,000 mark and are on track to raise their target of £1,000,000 over 3 years!
Employees from the firm have been undertaking all sorts of activities, including Tough Mudder, Skydives and even a Mount Kilimanjaro Trek in a bid to raise money for the charity.
The global organisation, who came on board as a corporate partner in March 2019, have big plans to keep up the fun throughout 2020, including taking part in the Great Manchester Run, a charity quiz night and Tour De Manc.
Staff recently undertook a static Manchester–Glasgow bike ride in the reception area of the offices with 15 minutes slots. It was a great team effort that had people involved from every end of the business!
Lucy Tunn, Corporate Fundraising Executive, said: “We’ve loved watching the staff at Peninsula get involved with a huge variety of events this year! They’re super enthusiastic and I know that they’ll do a fantastic job of smashing a whole host of activities in 2020”.
