Christmas is a time of joy for most of us but for those with a poorly child in hospital or one mourning the loss of a loved one it can be one of sadness or distress. At such a time, making a donation or showing support for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity can provide some degree of comfort.
A one-off donation can be made to the ward, department or fund of your choice or, if you would prefer to invite other friends or family to also contribute to the same cause, you may wish to set up a Tribute Fund.
Alternatively, some parents choose to contribute gifts such as toys or games to be enjoyed by children spending Christmas on the wards. Due to infection control there are restrictions on the types of toys we are allowed to accept so please give us a call to discuss before you make any purchases.
We would love to hear from you so please contact Angela Rowe, Community Fundraising Manager, on 0161 701 5258 to discuss your Christmas giving wishes.
