Charitable Trusts
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity raises funds to ensure continued excellence in treatment, research and care – enhancing the lives of thousands of children each year. We support projects within Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, which are designed to help children and their families facing the most difficult of times.
This work requires long-term investment and the support we receive from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations can help us to achieve our goals.
Together we can make a difference, by supporting:
Treatment - ensuring that the hospital has the most up-to-date equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of our patients, giving them access to world-class care.
Research - Medical research has played a critical role in developing the standard of healthcare that is so often taken for granted today, from antibiotics to the bionic eye. Our research projects aim to pioneer new ways to prevent, treat and cure complex life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Care - Visiting hospital and meeting doctors and nurses can be a daunting experience for a child. Creating non-clinical spaces within the hospital, such as play areas and chill-out rooms, can help children to relax and feel more at ease. For families, we provide accommodation and communal areas, enabling them to have somewhere that provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during very stressful and difficult times.
We have a dedicated team who work with individual donors and charitable trusts to ensure our projects match your aims and objectives as well as keeping you updated on the difference your support is making to our patients and their families.
