Christmas Carols in the City
This Christmas, we are delighted to invite you back to Manchester Cathedral to join our Christmas Carols in the City event, in support of our family of NHS Manchester hospitals.
Event starts: 7:30pm
Join us to celebrate the festive season in style, in the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral, with an evening of Christmas carols and performances from local choirs including Manchester Grammar School, Manchester High School for Girls and The Hammond School of Music. The evening will also feature readings from our celebrity patrons. The event is family friendly and suitable for all ages and the ticket price includes refreshments.
Tickets cost £12 per adult, £6 for children and concessions or £32 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children).
The event is kindly sponsored by PG Tips and all money raised at Carols in the City will be match funded by Peninsula Group.
We are delighted to offer an exclusive discount for staff from across our family of hospitals when purchasing standard adult tickets. The discounted price of £10 per ticket is available on production of a staff ID badge or assigment number and is limited to four tickets at the discounted price per staff member.
Keeping Covid Safe
We encourage all guests to take a lateral flow test prior to attending the event. If you return a positive lateral flow, or have COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, please do not attend the event and book a PCR test. Guests who have been instructed to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace should also not attend.
Our staff will be wearing masks, and we would encourage guests to do the same. Masks will be available to guests on arrival, should they be required. Hand sanitiser will also be available.
If you are unable to attend due to COVID, please let us know by 4pm on the day of the event and we will transfer your ticket to next year’s event. If you would like further information about the Covid safety measures we are undertaking at the event, please get in touch. You can contact us at email@example.com or by calling 0161 276 4522 during standard office hours.
