The Brecon Beacons National Park is a mountain range that runs through the centre of South Wales, renowned for its inspiring and open scenery. The Beacons is also the training ground of the SAS – as you can imagine the routes will provide you with testing climbs, steep descents and challenging terrain. Both the 25km and 50km routes will summit one of the highest peaks in South Wales, the famous Pen y Fan (886m), it will be a challenging adventure but once you make it to the top you’ll discover sensational views of the Brecon Beacons, with its rolling mountains and hills, stretching as far as the eye can see.
the challenge route will start and finish at the event village. The event village has plenty of facilities available for participants, including showers, camping plots and hot food served regularly. Participants are also welcome to camp on the Friday night before the challenge - tents, caravans and camper vans are welcome, so bring the family along and make a weekend of it!
