Giving in memory of a loved one is a special way to remember their life. Knowing that you have helped to make a difference to children in hospital, in the name of your loved one, can bring some small comfort at a time of immense sadness.
You may wish to make a one-off gift, or ask for donations in place of flowers at a funeral, which funeral directors can usually arrange. At a later date, you may wish to donate to commemorate the birthday or anniversary of a loved one. You may even want to take on a challenge such as memory walk and what better setting than the Great Wall of China!
Your gift can make a real difference to the lives of other children, either through providing state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment, through research projects to improve our understanding of children’s illnesses, or through creating an environment that’s more child-friendly.
